HubSpot implementation cost: what to budget in 2026

HubSpot's onboarding fees, what they don't cover, what consultants typically charge, and how to keep a HubSpot rollout on budget.

Published by Fourteener Technologies

HubSpot's license is only part of the cost. Most budgets get surprised by onboarding fees and by the work onboarding doesn't include. Here's what to plan for.

HubSpot's own onboarding fees

Professional and Enterprise tiers usually carry a one-time onboarding fee set by HubSpot. A 2026 breakdown from a HubSpot partner in Europe lists:

Hub and tierOne-time onboarding fee (EUR)
Marketing Hub Professional or Enterpriseabout €2,750
Sales Hub or Service Hub€1,400 to €2,750
Customer Platform (suite)€4,000 to €7,000

US dollar fees are similar in size. HubSpot changes these and sometimes waives them, so confirm current fees with your rep.

What onboarding doesn't cover

HubSpot's onboarding is coaching: a specialist helps you configure the basics and trains your team. It typically doesn't include migrating data from spreadsheets or an old CRM, building custom integrations, creating email templates and landing pages, or mapping complex workflows. Those are usually the largest first-year costs. Partner-led implementations commonly run from about €6,000 to €30,000 or more.

What consultants charge

Published data on HubSpot consulting puts typical rates around $100 to $150 an hour, with median projects of roughly $1,400 for small, $5,700 for medium and $15,000 for large implementations. Enterprise rollouts run well above that.

What drives the price

  • Data migration: how many records, how messy, and from where.
  • Integrations: website forms are simple; ERP, billing or product data are not.
  • Number of hubs and teams: sales only, or sales, marketing and service together.
  • Custom objects and automation: useful, but each one adds build and testing time.
  • Training: a CRM nobody uses is the most expensive kind.

Keeping it on budget

  1. Start with fewer required fields and stages that match how deals really move.
  2. Clean data before you migrate it, not after.
  3. Launch the core pipeline first; add automation once people are using it.
  4. Get the scope and price in writing, including what isn't included.
