Context
A large healthcare organization needed patients to find the right provider quickly, across many locations and specialties, on its own site and across search.
The challenge
Provider data came from several systems, changed constantly as providers joined, left or changed locations, and had to be accurate everywhere patients looked.
What was done
- Ran technical pre-sales: API architecture, proofs of concept and executive presentations
- Designed the integration approach for pulling provider data from source systems into a structured knowledge base
- Structured provider, location and specialty data so search engines and on-site search returned the right result
- Built integration frameworks that other architects across the organization later adopted
Results
- Became one of the largest healthcare provider search deployments in the platform's history
- Integration framework adopted org-wide as a standard approach
- Contributed to multiple top-performer awards for the solutions architect who led it
What it means for you
Provider and location data is a structured-data problem before it's a design problem. The same foundation now decides what AI assistants say about healthcare groups, which is why our healthcare work starts with listings and structured data.
These case studies come from our founder's work before Fourteener Technologies, at a leading local search and digital knowledge platform and at a systems integration firm he co-founded. Client names are withheld; figures are as reported at the time.
